Growing up in Michigan, near Detroit, I always appreciated Leo's as an "honest" coney dog restaurant. I had a little extra time and was happy to see the restaurant as an option for breakfast. I really had a hankerin' for a coney dog, but it was a little "early" even for me! Luckily, there is an omelet option smothered (and I mean smothered!) In coney dog chili! It was much tastier than it looks, let's be real!

First place I go every time I touch down in DTW. Grew up in the area and actually prefer the airport location to the coneys out of the airport. Maybe the airport requires different standards of their Leo’s corp locations? But they got it figured out! Coneys are always hot and made fresh so they’re not soggy. My Greek salad seemed really fresh when I got it from the grab and go surprisingly at my 11 am flight.

I love me some Leo's and something about a coney dog and cheese fries right after a flight just HITS THE SPOT BABY! 3 thumbs up.

Detroit Airport Concourse A for Aaaaaaaa!! Huge Club Sandwhiche (Detroit in its own language now right??) and the fresh made tea was really good - I’ll get it again for sure. Probably the nicest person in the airport took my order, and the other nicest person handed me my to go bag! Dine in or carry out, its your call. But I’m saying - call this one a Go To Eatery!

Really good omelet with two sides and coffee for 20. In today's world, that's not a bad deal! Service was efficient and pleasant. Great place to catch a breakfast on a layover at DTW.

I had the Reuben and onion rings - perfectly grilled. Carissa, my server, was so pleasant and cheerful. Wait time was very short.

The food here is adequate at best. However, our waitress, Leah, earned this place 5 stars. My daughter and I stopped for a bite during a long layover. Leah was genuinely warm and friendly. She helped my young daughter navigate the menu and kept my coffee full. She was very pleasant to talk to. I believe she truly is just a very nice person. I hope that management sees this and recognizes Leah for the good job she does.
